A decision to close the school will be taken by the Headeacher in consultation with the Chair of Governors.
Such a decision will only be taken in exceptional circumstances on the grounds of health and safety of students, staff and visitors to the school.
If adverse weather conditions or other circumstances arise which require the school to close, prior to the start of the school day, this will be communicated as soon as is possible in the following ways:-.
