Course Costs
NVQs and Apprenticeships Before a course commences learners will be supported in seeking Government funding. This could either be from the Workforce Development Team (if candidates are employed by Somerset County Council) or via the Train to Gain route. In some cases there will be a contribution from the employer.
Legislative courses Foundation Food Hygiene £65 per person

Funding may be available for:
- Skills for Life at all levels
- First full Level 2 qualification (equivalent to 5 GCSEs)
- First full Level 3 qualification (equivalent to 2 A levels) for 19-25 year olds
- Some first full Level 4 qualifications for 19-25 year olds who do not already have a Level 3 qualification
Funding may be available for people who already have a qualification at Level 2 and 3 and would like to take an additional qualification
